Review Anomaly Alerts
Review anomaly alerts help your team spot unusual review patterns across monitored apps. Instead of notifying you about one review, an anomaly alert summarizes a change such as a burst of low ratings or a sudden drop in average rating.
What AppReviewBot detects
Depending on your workspace configuration, AppReviewBot can detect:
- A spike in 1–2 star reviews
- An unusual increase in total review volume
- A sharp drop in average rating
- A high ratio of low-rated reviews
- A flood of 1-star reviews in a short period
Detection compares a recent review window with the app's earlier baseline. It uses stored review statistics, not AI-generated classifications.
How alerts are delivered
Anomaly alerts can be sent to the destinations selected for your workspace, including Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, and email. They are separate from normal notifications for individual new reviews.
Each alert includes the app, the pattern detected, its severity, a summary of the measurements, sample low-rated reviews when available, and a View anomaly report link.
